Dress Standards
Highlands Golf Club dress requirements have been designed to reflect the Club's standard while also being practical for all Club members and visitors.
Visitors must adhere to the Club's dress standards and any members who invite guests to the Club are responsible for ensuring that their guests are properly informed of and adhere to the Club's dress standards.
Golf attire must be clean, tidy and appropriate for the game of golf, both on the course and in the Club House. To help members and visitors interpret this expectation, the following standards will be used when determining appropriate dress. Unless otherwise specified, these rules apply equally to men and women.
On the Course and Practice Facilities:
- Members and visitors dress must be clean, neat and tidy and wear appropriate footwear.
- Golf shoes (soft spike or spikeless) are permitted.
- Singlet tops, metal spiked footwear and bare feet are not permitted.
In the Clubhouse and Surrounds:
- Attire must be neat, clean and tidy.
- In general, golf attire that is appropriate for the course will be appropriate for the Clubhouse.
- Golf shoes are permitted in the Clubhouse, except in the dining rooms.
- Shoes must be worn and hats removed when in the clubhouse.

The Highlands Golf Club was established in 1926 and has since grown to become a well-known venue in the Southern Highlands, Mittagong and Bowral regions. Our 18-hole championship course is a true test for golfers of all levels, with its tree-lined fairways, picturesque views and challenging greens. We invite you to come and experience our course, whether you are a seasoned golfer or just starting out.
